CWJFON
- Squarespace
The live site has changed since I handed it off, so this links an archived copy of my redesign. Its hero video didn't survive archiving.
I redesigned the Squarespace website for Central Washington Justice for Our Neighbors (CWJFON), a regional nonprofit, and site visits increased by 150%.
The client
CWJFON is a Walla Walla–based nonprofit that provides accessible immigration legal services and does community organizing with immigrant communities in central and eastern Washington. It has been doing this work since 2018 and is an affiliate of the Immigration Law & Justice Network. The website has several audiences: people who need legal help, community members looking for clinics and trainings, supporters who want to donate, and job applicants.
What I built
A redesign of the organisation's Squarespace site, built around those audiences. The homepage opens on a full-screen background video of the organisation's community work under its name, followed by the mission alongside a photo, and a land acknowledgement beside a map of Washington marking its Ellensburg and Walla Walla offices.
Results
Site visits went up by 150% after the redesign.
Tech
Squarespace.
Status
The organisation has changed the site since I handed it off, and I no longer maintain it, so cwjfon.org today doesn't reflect my redesign. An archived copy from October 2025 shows it, minus the hero video, which the archive didn't save.
